What are long tail keywords? Long tail keywords have more than three keywords and are a lot more specific than short tail keywords. They are definitely more targeted and not as broad. As a general rule (but not necessary), these keywords tend to be longer and more specific than more commonly searched for keywords. If I want more of such traffic, marketers will be one of my biggest segments of readers. What we do next is take that keyword phrase and type it into Google to see what other keywords or phrases it might suggest.
As you can see, Google suggests that “types of social media” is another popular phrase to go after. We can simply optimize our post on types of social media for the term “social media” by placing similar words within the text of that post. Finally, after digging through a few pages and using some long tail keywords, I rank on page one of Google for terms like “6 Types of social media,” which helps drive more long tail traffic.
Start finding your hidden valuable long tail keywords and apply it moderately in your page to get the same results today! There are mainly 2 types of traffic, namely organic (direct) and referral. People who search for your business, product or service at Google is organic.
